Food distribution

Food distribution.

Distribution of food stamps. Every month dozens of families in need throughout the city arrive at the supermarket and shop for groceries using the money or food stamps we provided for them. Doing this discreetly, we save them the embarrassment of a representative of the association knocking at their door and handing them the stamps with which they can fill their homes with food and basic necessities and maintain their self respect.

Distribution of basic food.

Bread is considered a basic commodity, but when a family experiences financial struggle, every shekel is calculated and every simple expense can result with a phone call from the bank. In this case, our provision of bread becomes a great help. Dozens of families are no longer hungry for bread following the distribution of the association “Vayizra Yizhak Tiberius” along several centers in the city

Basket of food for Shabbat.

When families prepare to welcome the Shabbat and the smells of homemade baked goods and cuisine linger in the streets, there are families whose menu is particularly limited. Vayezra Yizhak took it upon themselves to brighten the Shabbat in many homes! The help that the funds extend to families enriches the Shabbat table and brings happiness to the families.

The association of “Vayezra Yizhak” The city of Tiberius is full of families blessed with an abundance of children, and a large part of those families are in need. Most of the families supported by the association are families who, due to strenuous circumstances, have difficulty supporting their family members. The association “Vayezra Yizhak” has set itself a clear goal: “no child shall remain hungry”, and that the Shabbat table will be abundant. This goal is often a matter of Pikuach Nefesh. As the association works around the clock, 365 days a year, the need for the association only increases from day to day, and unfortunately, even in our generation of great abundance there are families who are literally hungry for bread. The monthly income of those families does not cover the basic necessities that a family needs, and results in them barely scraping by from paycheck to paycheck. The association Vayizra Yizhak Tiberius needs help in various fields, including permanent supports, dental support, clothing, footwear, interest-free loans, vouchers, and additional financial support. Dozens of those supported by the association are desperate for help and rely on this association which supports and sustains those families who are struggling day by day, in the household economy, and in constant concern that no child remains hungry. A rare blessing from the Rabbi Kook Shalita to all the donors to the association “Vayezra Yizhak Tiberius”.

Temporary distress

Sometimes families want to get back on track and what they luck is one push. We fund financial advisors and rabbis for families who have fallen into debt due to improper household management. In addition to financing the advisors, the fund provides a one-time sum that helps the family get back on their feet and have a fresh start. The association also helps families who have encountered a large but unexpected expense.

Assistance with Newly-weds

Joy in the family is a blessed thing; Another man or woman who received a successful Shidduch and is going to establish a trusted home in Israel. In “Vayezra Yizhak” not only do we give fish, we provide fishing rods.

The cry of the nation

We are now living in a time of unprecedented crisis, unlike anything we have seen before. This applies to everything; health, the economy, and life itself. When these circumstances are inflicted on the hardworking families of holy Tiberius who are already experiencing financial hardship, their cry for help is heard through the heavens. This requires action from us all! It requires us all to put our lives on pause and help the cause. This is not a time to be passive, because the matters are in our hands!
